Vanuatu also known as Republic of Vanuatu is an Island nation situated in the middle of the South Pacific Island, 1,750 kilometres east of northern Australia.

Vanuatu has a total population of approximately 300,000. Vanuatu’s official languages are English and French. Christianity is the predominant religion in Vanuatu, approximately 83% of the population of Vanuatu is Christian.

Vanuatu is made up from a Y-shape chain of 83 volcanic islands. However, only 14 of the islands contains surface area with more than 100 square kilometres. They are Espiritu Santo, Malakula, Efate, Erromango, Ambrym, Tanna, Pentecost, Epi, Aoba, Gaua, Vanua Lava, Maewo, Malo and Anatom.
